Waking

One project is to make a 30-45 second motion project using green screen. here is the first look frame. I am very nervous about this project and doubt the outcome but i am trying to make it work.

I am trying to do a sequence where a guy is in between being asleep and awake and he is trapped in a nightmare and its sort of touches on the idea of senses and loosing your sense of touch, feel, hear etc. In this image I used a actress and made her a silhouette. The lips on her image are my lips and I took a 20 minute time lapse of the sky and placed it over top.

quick&dirty mood boards

For my interactive design class we are doing a huge project where we are designing a microsite for a fake client. I chose to make a "lifestyle brand" clothing site and after 4 weeks of the planning, competitive analysis, creative strategy, content management/info arch and user flows/scenarios I finally get to start to work on the visual strategy. Here is the very first few ideas being spit out just to get a idea of what feel, emotion, style the site should take.

I think deleting my facebook just makes me want to blog all the time to keep me busy.

My illustrator character that caused me to pull my hair out all day for. I do NOT have mad skills in illustrator to say the least and making this girl from scratch caused me to have a mental break down. She is not fabulous by any means but I am happy she is finally done and that I temporarily have a break from illustrator ( for a day )She is majorly based off the "widow" character in BLANK and over the rest of the term I have to make 12 story book pages telling a mini story with her as my main character. ( AKA I may not survive till the end of term )

Hobbit Video Blog 4

Peter Jackson announces that he is filming at 48 frames per second in 3D. This will be interesting seeing as film is done at 24 frames per second which gives it its "film quality." 48 fps will make the footage look more real, and is also a lot less forgiving. As much as I hate 3D i am intrigued. He also goes through how they are using 48 RED cams. This is outrageous, I hope he gives me one when he is done.
